Horizontal Cylinder Girth Welding Station

The welding manipulator is specially designed for automatic welding of horizontal cylindrical tanks. It features electrically powered movement and automatic tracking control for welding along the circumferential and corner seams. When combined with the rotation drive mechanism, it enables automatic rotation of the workpiece for welding, ensuring good welding results for butt and corner joints. The manipulator includes both near-control and remote-control dual-mode welding control systems, a WPS welding program controller, Miller automatic welding system for pipes, and an electrical control system.

The welding positioner with rotating roller mechanism is an adjustable roller frame mainly composed of the frame body, rubber-coated rollers, rotation drive mechanism, and moving roller mechanism. It is primarily used to support and hold the cylinder, adjust the cylinder's level, etc., to ensure smooth welding of the cylinder. The rotating roller mechanism consists of two active roller frames: one is a mobile roller frame and the other is a fixed roller frame with baffles.
