Multi-Function Welding Positioner, developed by NAEC, is an automatic positioning equipment. When combined with pipe lifting supports and rails, it facilitates various welding tasks such as straight pipe + flange, short pipe + flange, flange + elbow, and short pipe + elbow, by providing support, adjusting pipe orientation, and centering.
This multi-function positioner is a specially designed fixture and positioning device for pipe welding production. It consists mainly of a frame, rotating rollers, pipe clamping mechanism, positioning mechanism, and electrical control system. It is primarily used for welding joints between pipes, fittings, and flanges. It can rotate pipes 360° and tilt them ±45°, overcoming certain eccentricity to ensure continuous and stable rotation. It also facilitates the transformation of flange fillet welds into boat-shaped welds for welding. It is mainly applied to the welding process changes of butt joints or angle joints between straight pipe sections and fittings, facilitating manual or automatic welding, meeting the production requirements of both seamless and welded steel pipes.
The adjustable pipe support and lifting mechanism can accommodate two adjustable pipe diameters. It features practicality, reliability, good centering, smooth rotation during operation, wide applicability to workpieces, and easy operation. It's an ideal auxiliary equipment in the pipe welding process.
This equipment consists of a traveling cart, lifting mechanism, and movable rollers. It is mainly used for supporting pipes, adjusting pipe orientation, and adjusting the pipe's center height. The bottom of the traveling cart is equipped with four traveling wheels, allowing the entire device to move back and forth on pre-laid rails. The position is determined based on the length of the pipe during operation. The equipment features a positioning locking function. The secure and reliable locking system prevents slight movements from affecting the quality of weld formation.
The workpiece rotation control system has basic functions such as pause, acceleration, and deceleration control. The rotation speed of the workpiece is adjustable through frequency conversion. In addition to manual operation buttons on the control box, it also comes with a foot pedal switch for convenient operation.
