Double Head Four Driving Type Welding Station combines the cantilever pipe welding machine with the chuck-type driving machine and welding passive rotating roller mechanism; the cantilever pipe welding machine with the welding active rotating roller mechanism and welding passive rotating roller mechanism; the cantilever pipe welding machine with the pressure arm welding roller mechanism and welding passive rotating roller mechanism to meet the welding requirements of different combinations of pipes + pipes, pipes + elbows, pipes + flanges, pipes + tees, pipes + pipes + elbows, elbows + pipes + flanges, etc. The center mainly consists of 2 chuck-type driving machines, 2 cantilever pipe welding machines, 5 welding passive rotating roller mechanisms, 1 welding active rotating roller mechanism, 1 pressure arm welding roller mechanism, and 3 sets of track components.
The "Double Head Four Driving" welding station achieves significant efficiency by allowing one welding head and one drive to work together while the other drive prepares for the next operation. This means one welding head can alternate between two sets of drive equipment, significantly reducing wait times for welding machines due to loading/unloading or other preparatory procedures. This reduces non-welding time for the welding head, increasing the arc-on time per unit cycle and improving the actual productivity of the single welding head or workstation.
The advantages of the "Double Head Four Driving" combination mode are as follows:
● Each welding head has 2 sets of drives, allowing the welding head to alternate between two drives, enabling welding and loading/unloading to occur simultaneously on both sets of drives, increasing the welding head's arc-on time.
● When welding stainless steel, the alternating operation of 2 sets of drives can also reduce wasted time due to waiting for argon filling and interpass cooling, further increasing the welding head's arc-on time.
● When welding alloy steel, it can also reduce wasted time due to waiting for preheating settings and temperature rise, further increasing the welding head's arc-on time.
